Our college provides concession in tuition fees to the poor and meritorious students. Apart from this, our college recommends students for different types of government and non government scholarship. For example, Kanyashree Prakalpa, scholarship to sc/st/obc/minority students, Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Jindal scholarship and others.
The cycle stand (Capacity: 100-150 cycles)is situated at the left hand side of the main entrance of the college.
The fully equipped College Seminar Hall is situated in the left corner of the second floor corridor. It may cater almost hundred people. The college arranges meetings, seminars, workshops, special lectures in this seminar room.
EMPLOYEES’ CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY LTD.
”VIVEKANANDA MISSION MAHAVIDYALAYA EMPLOYEES’ CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY LTD.’’ was set up on 16.4.1974 at the office of the ARCS of Mid-I Range for conducting money lending and thrift activities among the members since inauguration up to the date of audit. The Society is a Primary Non-Agricultural Co-Operative Credit Society with limited liability, having Registration No. 27 dated 16.04.1974 under the West Bengal Co-Operative Credit Society Acts & Rules with a view to attain the main objective of fund creation by way of collection of share, thrift fund, guarantee fund etc. for lending to the members and to encourage the habit of savings. It also performs other duties conductive and incidental to the attainment of the main objective. The membership right of the Society has been limited within the staff of the Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya, Chaitanyapur, Purba Medinipur. The affairs of The Employees’ Co-operative Credit Society are managed by the Board of Directors elected by the members of the Society. Presently 31 (thirty one) general members and 09 (nine) Board members are in the Society. All transactions of the Society are carried through a specified account in Punjab National Bank, VMA Branch operated jointly by the President and Secretary of the Society. Presently the rate of interest on loan to the members of the Society is 8%. The audit of the Society is conducted each year by the authorised auditor of the Co-Operative Audit, West Bengal.
The college takes great care in maintaining student-discipline and security. For the successful implementation of discipline and security the college has installed CCTV in various parts of the college. There are around 30 Closed Circuit TV Cameras installed in the college premises.
The college offers the facility of photocopying to the students. The photocopy booth is situated at the right corner of the ground floor corridor. The centre generally operates in regular college days from 11 am to 5 pm.
The boys and girls of the college have their respective common rooms with basic amenities.
