Distance Mode of Education

A brief sketch on the Distance Mode Education Center

Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya Study Center (I-03)

Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya Studycenter (I-03) was first enlisted in year 2007 to the Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU,http://www.wbnsou.ac.in/). This center has been help into the learner of this area/region a lot during the last few years. Large number of learner have obtained their degree from this study center. Every Saturday and Sunday this study centerremains open. At present Four Elective (Honours) subject is taught here. The subjects are as follows:

1. i. Bengali
2. ii. English
3. iii. History
4. iv. Geography

Learners can choose this study center for PG courses also. For both BDP (Bachelor Degree Program) and PG (Post Graduate) course online application process is mandatory for admission. Generally each year in July-August month admission process for BDP courses starts and in September-October month PG courses admission process starts. At present five members are present including the Coordinator.

Some Facilities which made this study center unique, are as follow:

1. i. Separate help desk in the study center.
2. ii. This study center provides purified drinking water facilities for learners, Counselor and Staff.
3. iii. Free wireless-internet facilities during the office hours.
4. iv. Separate SMS facilities for updated information regarding STUDY CENTRE and NSOU also.
5. v. All the Counselors are highly qualified and experienced.
