About the Department

Sociology as a department, started in the year of 2013 at our college, but still remain it as a general subject from the beginning. At the first year number of 81 students enrolled themselves in this subject. The subject induced in the college to increase the personality of the student and better understanding about the society. Sociology is the scientific study of society, patterns of social relationships, social interaction and culture of everyday life. It is a social science that uses various methods of empirical investigation and critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about social order, acceptance and change or social evolution.
