Career Counselling
Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya has taken an initial step for both ongoing and ex-students to cater to the dynamic needs of professional fields. For this purpose, the Career Counselling Cell of our college conducts various programmes to provide different career opportunities to its students. It also creates awareness among students of various courses that can be pursued both after graduation and post-graduation. Programmes conducted are:
- Free UGC NET & SET coaching for both current and former students. This was functional before the COVID-19 pandemic. During pandemic, there was a disruption in the normal routine, which the college along with its entire staff tried to restore. Meanwhile, the free coaching for NET/SET exam preparation took a backseat. However, our college aims to make all possible arrangements to restart the classes very soon.
- The college has organized a seminar on career counselling issues in collaboration with RICE Education or RICESMART titled “Explore the Career Opportunities in Government Sector”
- In collaboration with TCS, the college has launched a Youth Employment Programme which have given a platform for students to get employment in the company.
