Book Bank & Cloth Bank

“It is a privilege to serve mankind, for this is the worship of God. God is here, in all these human souls. He is the soul of man.”-   Swami Vivekananda

Our Mahavidyalaya, Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya, takes an initiative to help needy people by providing books and clothes. In this 20th century, when a major part of India introduces them as educated, the other part engages them to earn money for livelihood by doing some physical works. We are trying to erase this boundary. We dream to make India, a country where everyone has got his/her basic rights. Education is that kind of base in which we can build our dreamt India. We start our journey from our college on 4th December, 2019. As our college is located at an unprivileged area, we first try to provide books and clothes to the villagers. For this we on the behalf of our Mahavidyalaya, cordially invite everyone who has an ability to donate books and clothes for those who need to make our dream successful. We are working as mediator to bridge donors and needers.

Book Bank

We live for books”- Umberto Eco

Book Bank is one of the latest projects taken by our Mahavidyalaya. Through this we are trying to collect first from the donors and then to distribute among the needers. We want to collect those books that are not given by the Government but related to the syllabus like several reference books for all classes (from five to onwards). This Book Bank always welcomes to the donors as well as to the receivers.

Clothes Bank

“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them”- Marc Jacobs

Clothes Bank is another largest as well as latest project taken by our Mahavidyalaya. Through this we are trying to collect or buy clothes to distribute among the unprivileged areas. To live a life cloth is as necessary as food, water, oxygen, light etc. In this bank we are trying to provide winter wears also. Even this clothes Bank is not limited only for the students, rather it is open for all ages of people who need clothes. This Clothes Bank always welcomes both the donors and the receivers.
